The Northern Illinois Association for the Education of Young Children is an affiliate of the Illinois Association for the Education of Young Children. Our not-for-profit organization began over thirty two years ago and serves the state's regions of DeKalb, Ogle and surrounding counties. The membership of this child advocacy group is comprised of child care directors and center staff members, home care providers, early childhood educators, child care resource and referral staff members, community college and university instructors, students, community leaders, community leaders and other service agency members. In efforts to support our young children and families with quality opportunities, the NIAEYC strives to recognize them with efforts through making awards of various donations, participating in service projects, leading state and national efforts, hosting yearly conferences and providing resources for these families and advocates of young children.
